Our Story

Lonnie and Shannon Kauffman and family of 3 (Brock, Lincoln, Eboni) have lived in the Lancaster area for a while now. Lonnie works full time at the nearby Kauffman Orchards and in the time period around 2020-2021, we were looking for better housing for our energetic family. We considered building a new house at our "old" place, but ultimately decided to look for a property to buy. Lonnie is a firefighter/senior driver at the Bird-in-Hand Fire Station, and since our old place was a bit far away from the fire station to make responding there easy, we decided that if we're going to move anyway, we would try to find a property closer to the fire station. Little did we imagine that we'd end up right across the street!

We weren't at all looking to buy a business, so for us, when we bought Greystone Manor Victorian Inn during the summer of 2022, we bought a house and got a business along with it! The purchase process was at times difficult, but God brought the right amount of funds at just the right times, and we intend to treat the Greystone Bed & Breakfast as a tool in the Kingdom of God and hope that guests can feel a touch of God when they stay here.

Lonnie has delegated responsibility for the operations for the entire property to our General Manager, Karen Kennedy. Guests who book a room here will likely interact with our family and/or with Karen and our crew.

More About Us

Greystone Manor Victorian Inn is under new ownership and management (the Kauffman family) as of June 15, 2022.

Greystone Manor is a non-smoking establishment with 13 rooms and suites. All rooms include private baths, Roku TV, central air, and easy access to the outdoor pool (open seasonally). All rates are for double occupancy and are subject to Pennsylvania sales tax.

Cancellation policy – If you cancel your reservation 14 days before your arrival date, we'll issue a full refund minus a $20.00 service charge. The service charge also applies to reservations that are shortened. There is no refund for reservations canceled less than 14 days before arrival date.

Smoking policy – Greystone Manor Victorian Inn is a completely non-smoking establishment – smoking is prohibited on the entire property, indoors and outdoors. Those who choose to disregard this non-smoking policy will be charged a $300 cleaning fee if found smoking in any guest area or room and asked to leave the property immediately with no refund.

Children – We welcome well-behaved children and have three family suites with multiple beds, which can accommodate from 4-7 people.
Groups – Save 5% when you book 5 or more rooms.

Deposit – A deposit by major credit card is required to book a room, with the balance automatically charged on or about the day of arrival.

Minimum stays apply on weekends and holidays.
